“Yeah”, he hummed before settling down. Hearing Jensen’s voice was somehow comforting. He smiled to his words probably more than he should have. He shifted little, wiping the sheets and himself with napkins and finally settled down, just to listen to Jensen’s voice. There was an edge to it which gave out that man had just came. Jared smiled little, holding his pillow as he listened, and before he even noticed he had drifted to sleep, phone still pinned between his ear and the pillow and Jensen on the other end of the line.

Jensen could clearly hear when the boy slid into sleep and he smiled a little to himself. He stayed still, listened to his breathing for probably five minutes before he sighed.

“Goodnight to you too, Jay,” he whispered before he hung up and went to sleep.
